Jacaranda’s vision is a world where all mothers experience childbirth safely and respectfully, and all newborns get a safe start in life. We partner with governments and communities to deploy affordable and scalable solutions through public hospitals, where most underserved mothers and babies receive care.
Jacaranda’s solutions connect mothers, communities, and government partners to improve maternal outcomes and respectful care. We combine a digital health platform that empowers women during pregnancy, a mentorship program that provides critical skills to frontline nurses, and a real-time data infrastructure to amplify women's voices in the health system, hold government partners accountable and improve equitable resource allocation.
In five years, we aim to operate nationally in Kenya, improving 60% of pregnancy journeys, scaling in three new countries, and demonstrate sustainability with a 75% cost share of our programs by government partners.
