In early 2019, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation launched the second round of its 100&Change competition. Building on the success of the inaugural competition, 100&Change remains a sector-agnostic competition seeking to fund a single proposal that promises real and measurable progress in solving a critical problem of our time. With an application deadline of August 6th, and the administrative review process completed, we look forward to sharing information on the total number of proposals received in the coming weeks. Special thanks to the many judges who have donated their time to review proposals. Additionally, we plan to share lessons learned from this most recent round of administrative review in a forthcoming blog post by Cecilia Conrad.
In the meantime, if you would like to stay up-to-date on all things related to 100&Change, please follow MacArthur’s Perspectives Blog. Our most recent post is an update on the successes, challenges, and learnings from Sesame Workshop, MacArthur’s inaugural $100 million grant recipient.
